Gian Lorenzo Bernini, St. Augustine[2]O merciful Lord,
who didst turn Augustine from his sins to be a faithful bishop and teacher:

through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord,
who liveth and reigneth with thee,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

The Epistle: 2 Timothy 4:1-8[3]
The Gospel: St. Matthew 5:13[4]
